Emmanuel E. W. Jones Electrical Engineering Foundation

This foundation was established in honor of Emmanuel E. W. Jones, Jr. on March 27, 2004.


MISSION STATEMENT

The Emmanuel E. W. Jones Electrical Engineering Foundation is working to raise support and resources to enhance the educational opportunities for Liberian students and faculties in the field of Electrical Engineering, and for the advancement of human capital and transfer of technologies to ensure sustainable supply and delivery of electric energy in Liberia.

While serving this purpose, the foundation aims:

  • To create partnerships with other organizations and institutions to extend the reach of the foundation's mission.
  • To provide scholarships in electrical engineering at universities and vocational training programs.
  • To provide support for programs that advance the skills of students in K-12 in maths and science.
  • To be a bridge between universities and industry in and out of Liberia for the transfer of knowledge in electrical and computer engineering.

THE FOUNDATION'S PLEDGE
The Directors of the foundation pledge to our donors, friends and partners that all the resources of all kinds received will be used for sole purpose of the achieving the foundation's mission statement. Transparency of all the foundation activities will be ensured by publishing an annual report at the end of each calendar year.
